Holiday celebrations are 11 a.m.to 3 p.m., Dec. 1 at the Millicent Rogers Museum’s Holiday Fiesta.
 
This year’s event marks the 21st year the museum has hosted its Holiday Fiesta,and is line with the museum’s mission of sharing and celebrating the arts and cultures of the Southwest.
 
The museum was founded in 1956 in Taos and the majority of its collection of more than 7,000 objects is representative of the diverse Indigenous and Hispanic cultures of the Southwest with particular strengths in the traditional arts of northern New Mexico.
 
The Holiday Fiesta showcases these traditions in an annual event that is offered for free for the community of Taos, but admission will be free for all visitors who would like to join in on the fun.
 
Holiday Fiesta— The Millicent Rogers Museum is committed to building and cultivating a strong relationship with the local community,and this event strives to honor and respect the vibrant artistic traditions of northern New Mexico. This year’s Holiday Fiesta will feature face painting, holiday crafts, and student music and dance performances by Billy Archuleta at 11 a.m., Taos Suzuki Violin School at noon, Los Niños Bailadores at 1 p.m., and the Taos Youth Ballet at 2 p.m.
