Taos Pueblo Artist Winter Showcase at the Millicent Rogers Museum
The Millicent Rogers Museum is thrilled to announce the Taos Pueblo Artist Winter Showcase, a three-day event from March 14 to 16, 2025, celebrating the creativity and cultural heritage of Taos Pueblo. This special showcase will feature over 20 local artists from Taos Pueblo, providing visitors the opportunity to explore and purchase handmade artwork directly from the creators. The event opens on Friday, March 14, with a reception from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
As part of the museum’s ongoing commitment to working with Southwest communities, the Taos Pueblo Artist Winter Showcase highlights the rich traditions and stories of the Taos Pueblo. By bringing local artists into the spotlight, the museum continues to strengthen its connection with the community and offers a platform for these artists to share their talents and culture with a wider audience.
“This showcase is truly a special event for us," said Karen Chertok, Executive Director of the Millicent Rogers Museum. "It’s more than just a display of extraordinary art—it’s a celebration of our partnership with the Taos Pueblo. The showcase embodies the museum’s mission to be a space where local culture thrives and is shared with the community.”
The event will feature a diverse range of artwork, including pottery, jewelry, paintings, and more, all reflecting the unique cultural heritage of Taos Pueblo. 100% of the sales go to the artists. Visitors are encouraged to attend the opening reception on March 14, as well as explore the artwork throughout the weekend.
