Hand Carved Gem, Mineral, Bone, Feathers and Precious Metals are some of the media used in creating these Spiritual objects. They are placed in a special place and sometimes worn. Zuni Pueblo Fetishes are highly sought after and more widely known. However, these fetishes were and are created by many tribes throughout the Southwest and are unique to the tribe or a trademark style of the maker.
