This beautiful oxidized sterling silver cuff bracelet by Melvin Begay (Navajo) features one very large turquoise stone measuring 2-1/2 inches long by 1-1/4 inches wide. The turquoise is light blue with a golden matrix and appears to be stabilized. The mine is not known. The bracelet is on three wires, the outer two of which are twisted. The stone is set off by rows of sterling silver shots and two half rosettes of sterling silver on either side. The bracelet measures 5 inches around and is sized for a relatively small wrist though it can be opened up somewhat. A beautiful piece of contemporary American Indian artistry.
