Education and Tours
Education programs are an opportunity to inform our audience of the Museum’s mission to share and celebrate the cultures of the Southwest.
Free, personalized tours of the Museum are scheduled throughout the year and are led by volunteer docents. Docent-led tours are available to any group with advance notice.
Each year in December the Museum offers a free Holiday Fiesta for families.
For special exhibitions at the Museum, free gallery talks by artists or appropriate experts in the field expand learning opportunities for visitors. These are frequently offered on weekend afternoons and include light refreshments. In addition, lectures and panel discussions are scheduled with both loan exhibitions and those from the extensive collections of the Museum.
